The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
