And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
