Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
