Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
