"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 and [also,] that the suffering which I shall impose [on sinners] will indeed be a suffering most grievous. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
