The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21
