THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
