So I swear by what you see 38 and what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
