Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 separating one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
