Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
