The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
