We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
