Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
