The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
