The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 The Master of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
