۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
