And recount to them the story of Abraham: 69 Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" 70 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." 71 He asked, "Do they hear you when you call to them? 72 'Can they benefit you or harm you' 73 They answered: "No; but we found our forefathers doing so." 74 Abraham said, "Have you really thought about what you have been worshipping, 75 you and your forefathers of yore? 76 They are all enemies to me; all, except the Lord of the Universe 77 Who created me and Who guides me; 78 and Himself gives me to eat and drink, 79 and, whenever I am sick, heals me, 80 And He Who will cause me to die, then give me life; 81 And Who, I hope, will forgive me my mistakes on the day of judgment. 82 My Lord, give me judgment, and join me with the righteous. 83 And appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the latter. 84 And make me of the heirs of the garden of bliss 85 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; 86 Degrade me not upon the day when they are raised up, 87 The day when wealth and sons avail not (any man) 88 except what is done in obedience to God with a submissive heart. 89 And the garden shall be brought near for those who guard (against evil), 90 and Hell shall be revealed to the misguided, 91 And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship 92 besides God? Will the idols help you? Can they help themselves?" 93 Then they shall be pitched into it, they and the perverse 94 and Satan's legions, all together. 95 They shall say, as they dispute there one with another, 96 By Allah, we were truly in a manifest error, 97 When We held you (false gods) as equals (in worship) with the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists); 98 It was nothing but the evildoers who led us astray. 99 so now we have no intercessors, 100 nor any loving friend. 101 If only we could return we would be among the believers." 102 Verily! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 103 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
