1/4 Hizb 38
< random >
The dwellers of the Thicket belied their Messengers. 176 when their brother Shu'ayb said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 177 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance, 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They said, 'Thou art merely one of those that are bewitched; 185 for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar! 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
