And indeed We bestowed the Book to Moosa, therefore have no doubt in its acquisition, and made it a guidance for the Descendants of Israel. 23 And We appointed, from amongst them, leaders guiding others by Our command, when they had persevered, and of Our signs they were convinced. 24 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. 25 [But] can, then, they [who deny the truth] learn no lesson by recalling how many a generation We have destroyed before their time? [people] in whose dwelling-places they [themselves now] walk about? In this, behold, there are messages indeed: will they not, then, listen? 26 Do they not see that We drive the water to a land having no herbage, then We bring forth thereby seed-produce of which their cattle and they themselves eat; will they not then see? 27 And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?" 28 Say, "On the day of the final triumph, the faith of the disbelievers will be of no avail to them, nor will they be given any respite". 29 Turn away from them and wait. They are, also, waiting. 30
