1/2 Hizb 45
< random >
۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. 30 “So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).” 31 Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.' 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers. 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 Those! theirs shall be a provision known: 41 Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity, 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 Facing each other on Thrones (of Dignity): 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 like closely guarded pearls. 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of this then let the workers work. 61 Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum 62 We have made this (tree) a trial for the evildoers. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then their return will be to the same blazing Hell. 68 Indeed they found their fathers astray. 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
