By no means! By the moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 Warn the men. 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
