Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
