The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A flaming fire! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
