And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
