The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
