Do the disbelievers reckon that they can choose My bondmen as protecting friends beside Me? Lo! We have prepared hell as a welcome for the disbelievers. 102 Say: Shall We inform you who will be the greatest losers by their works? 103 It will be those whose effort went astray in the life of the world and who believe nevertheless that they are doing good. 104 Those are they that disbelieve in the signs of their Lord and the encounter with Him; their works have failed, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall not assign to them any weight. 105 Thus it is that their recompense is hell, because they disbelieved and held My communications and My apostles in mockery. 106 But surely those who believe and do the right will have gardens of Paradise as gift, 107 Wherein they shall dwell (for aye): no change will they wish for from them. 108 Tell them, "If the ocean became ink for writing the words of my Lord, surely the ocean would be exhausted before the words of my Lord came to an end -- even if We were to add another ocean to it." 109 Say, "I am only a mortal like you but I have received revelation that there is only one Lord. Whoever desires to meet his Lord should strive righteously and should worship no one besides Him. 110
