Muhammad (Muhammad)
38 verses, revealed in Medina after Iron (Al-Hadeed) before Thunder (Al-Ra'ad)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Allah has caused the works of those who disbelieve and hinder people from the way of Allah to go to waste. 1 And those who believe and do good works and believe in that which is revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He riddeth them of their ill-deeds and improveth their state. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow the falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. And thus Allah propoundeth unto mankind their similitude. 3 Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers smite their necks, then, when you have killed many of them, tie the bonds. Then, either free them by grace or ransom until war shall lay down its loads, in this way, it shall be. Had Allah willed, He would have been victorious over them; except that He might test you, the one by the means of others. As for those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will not let their works to go astray. 4 He will guide them and improve their condition; 5 And admit them to Paradise which He has made known to them (i.e. they will know their places in Paradise more than they used to know their houses in the world). 6 O ye who believe! if ye shall succour Allah, He shall succour you and make firm your feet. 7 And those who disbelieve, perdition is for them, and He will make their actions vain. 8 This is because they disliked what Allah has sent down He has therefore squandered all their deeds. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed through the land to see the end of those who went before them? Allah utterly destroyed them. These unbelievers are doomed to the same end. 10 that is because Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and the unbelievers have no guardian. 11

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
