▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and you are watching at that time 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
