The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
