Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
