The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 and produce sparks 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
