Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 And those [ships] sailing with ease 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 They but destroy themselves, they who are given to guessing at what they cannot ascertain 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask, "When it will be the Day of Judgment?" 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 And in the morning they asked forgiveness. 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
