۞ Is then one who doth know that that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the Truth, like one who is blind? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition;- 19 Those who fulfil the pact of Allah, and do not renege on the covenant. 20 who join together what Allah has bidden to be united; who fear their Lord and dread the evil reckoning. 21 Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; Establish regular prayers; spend, out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (eternal) home,- 22 They shall enter the eternal Gardens of Eden, along with the righteous from among their fathers, wives and descendants. From every gate the angels will come to them, saying, 23 'Peace be upon you, for that you were patient.' Fair is the Ultimate Abode. 24 But as for those who break their bond with God after it has been established [in their nature,] and cut asunder what God has bidden to be joined, and spread corruption on earth - their due is rejection [by God,] and theirs is a most evil fate [in the life to come]. 25 Allah enlargeth livelihood for whom He will, and straiteneth (it for whom He will); and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of the world is but brief comfort as compared with the Hereafter. 26
