Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
