The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
