For, behold, it is the God-conscious [alone] whom gardens of bliss await with their Sustainer: 34 Shall We then make the Muslims like the culprits? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or have you a Book through which you learn. 37 that tells you to do whatever you want? 38 Or have you received a solemn promise, binding on Us till Resurrection Day, that yours will assuredly be whatever you judge [to be your rightful due]? 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 Let Me alone with him who belieth this discourse; step by step We lead them on when they perceive not. 44 and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 But wait thou for thy Lord's decree, and be not like him of the fish, who cried out in despair. 48 Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him, he would have been blamed, cast upon the shore. 49 but [as it was,] his Sustainer had elected him and placed him among the righteous. 50 But the unbelievers would like to stare you out of balance when they hear the warning, and say: "Surely he is possessed;" 51 The Quran is nothing but a reminder from God to mankind. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
