Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
