Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
