Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
