Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and by that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52

True are the words of God the Almighty.
