Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
