Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
