The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
