۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
