Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
