Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
