1/2 Hizb 35

“O Noble Messengers, eat good clean things, and do good deeds; I know all that you do.” 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Do they imagine that the wealth and children We have provided 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or, do you ask a tribute from them? Your Lord's tribute is better. He is the Best of providers. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 until We opened upon them the door of a severe chastisement. Then lo, in this state they become utterly despaired of any good. 77
