In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 He created man from a clot of blood. 2 Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous - 3 who taught by the pen, 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 Nay! Verily, man does transgress all bounds (in disbelief and evil deed, etc.). 6 for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 Have you seen him who forbids 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 Have you seen if he is upon guidance 11 Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? 12 Have you considered if he gives the lie to the truth and turns (his) back? 13 Knoweth he not that Allah beholdeth? 14 No indeed; if he does not desist, We shall drag him by the forelock; 15 his lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades): 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 Nay! obey him not, and make obeisance and draw nigh (to Allah). ۩ 19
