Believers! Shall I guide you to a profitable course that will save you from a painful punishment? 10 You shall believe in Allah and His Messenger and struggle for His Way with your possessions and yourselves. That is better for you, if you but knew. 11 and He will forgive you your sins and admit you into Gardens with rivers flowing under them. He will lodge you in fine dwellings in the Gardens of Eternity; that is indeed the supreme achievement. 12 And [withal, He will grant you] yet another thing that you dearly love: succour from God [in this world,] and a victory soon to come: and [thereof, O Prophet,] give thou a glad tiding to all who believe. 13 O you who believe! be helpers (in the cause) of Allah, as Isa son of Marium said to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of the children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became uppermost. 14
