We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
